Lvl 100 Dragoon XHB made by a ps5 player

this is good. it makes a lot of sense and feeds into the combos. may need to revise it post dawntrail but we'll see what dawntrail brings.

Thought process

• GCDs on face buttons so movement is easier while rolling gcd
• OGCDs put roughly in order of pressing (e.g. lance charge ->Litany -> clockwise following gcd order)
• WXHB and Expanded XHB are shared on Hotbar 2 so I can see the Expanded because double tapping is annoying and 32 slots is plenty for most jobs
• Macro is placeholder for Pot
• Hotbar 3 is for easy switching to during 3+ encounters and so they don't waste space, leaving room to add reminder macros or move anti kb to a face button
  • There are 3 free buttons (4 if you remove leg sweep) if you want to add aoe anyway
• Sprint as a macro on the left thumbstick (L3) so you can press it while moving

NOTE: The "Stance" key there is for you to replace with your Draught of Strength since I couldn't find the item on this tool.

1 is normally mapped 2 is usually Ctrl + {Number} 3 is usually Shift + {Number} 4 is usually Alt + {Number}

My basic layout for all jobs. Hotbar 1 single target, hotbar 2 AOE. The focus of each is their respective core GCDs, and then I mimic the OGCD on each so switching isn't required unless going from AOE to single target situations or vice versa. Nastrond is used quite a lot in double weaves so I have it on both sides for ease of access. Expanded hotbar 3 for job specific potions, food, movement, role actions, extras I want access to regardless of single target or aoe situations. Hotbar 4 is shared quick access to whatever ya want on the WXHB.

With the Dawntrail update, a lot of the dragoon actions have been condensed. Try it out!

XHB 1 Single target XHB 2 Multiple target

Basic DPS rotation with movement skills, a flowchart, and visualized cooldowns. Bars four, five, and six are in the center of my screen so I can easily see cooldowns as well as visualize the flowchart of the typical Dragoon DPS rotation.

Maybe this hotbar will make me like playing DRG more. I've now come to accept that the AoE combo will have to sit away from the first hotbar.

Note: I haven't really tried this yet. Will update if needed.

General notes:

• "Main" hotbar is RT
• Frequently used abilities or important ones to use while moving go on the face buttons
• AoE versions of things go on expanded hotbar
• Only using one expanded hotbar so no LT>RT vs. RT>LT confusion during combat
• Infrequently used abilities go on WXHB
• Star button on WXHB is a focus target macro

Sage-specific notes:

• Sage has lots of single-target vs. AoE abilities, so placement on expanded hotbar mirrors this (Dosis/Dyskrasia, Diagonosis/Prognosis, Taurochole/Kerachole, Druochole/Ixochole, Haima/Panhaima)
• Philosophia placement mirrors that of Soteria (LT vs. LT-LT)
• Krasis on d-pad down to make it easy to cycle down to the tank and target them for it (down, down, RT+down)
  • Remember to adjust your party list job priority!
• Zoe and Pneuma next to each other since they usually get used together
• Eukrasia on WXHB is a macro to turn it off
• Speech button on WXHB is a macro to indicate Swiftcast cooldown (i.e., when I will attempt to res again)
