MMO mouse setup with modifiers.

How I set up my crossbars as a gunbreaker on steamdeck (Currently level ~65)

I try to play every classes/jobs, thus I tend to reuse same slots for same "functionality" across jobs.

I show Cross Hotbar 3 (Left) with both of the expanded trigger controls, so you can easily add in another 8 actions if you prefer, I use XHB 8 as a shared bar between all classes for traversal and general actions outside of combat. Role actions are consistent among my layouts, and so are general actions. The macro icon is a placeholder for a Tincture/Gemdraught.

Peripherals are Corsair Scimitar Elite

All jobs will follow a similar pattern to make job transitioning simple and not so overwhelming

Hotbar 1 uses the 12 MMO mouse buttons. Hotbar 2 uses those 12 buttons with Shift as the modifier. Hotbar 3 uses those 12 buttons with Alt as the modifier.

Optimized for Hori Tactical Assault Commander Keypad using 4x3 cluster of buttons 1-4, 7-10, and 13-16.

Hotbar 2 is accessed using CTRL modifier bound to top side mouse button. Hotbar 3 is accessed using ALT modifier bound to the remaining side mouse button.
