I created my chotbars to be comfortable, practical, and aesthetic.(to me anyway) Nearly all same/similar skills are in the same position across all jobs/roles while allowing for as little finger gymnastics as possible.

My XHB is split between chotbars 2(left) and 7(right)

Black is right, white is left. there's still a lot of flexibility here, but this is more or less what works for me

First attempt to make panels for MMO mouse with 2 3x4 hotbars and 1 6x2 for utility

Up and down on the Dpad are the left and right back paddle respectively.

XHB 3 can the accessed with either LTRT or RTLT

I use an mmo mouse so 1-6 on all bars are pressed on the mouse, uisng shift and ctrl for bar 2 and 3. The latter 6 on all bars are pressed uisng the keyboard and shift/ctrl.

Based on Squintina's layout, but with tweaks that fit my brain better. ST on chotbar 1, AoE on chotbar 2. I hit R1 (right bumper) to change to the AoE and sit on that chotbar as needed. Since RDM is my Eureka job, I have Eureka Potion set to chotbar 3, LDU.

this layout works for levelling from RDM unlock through Dawntrail. main crossbar is your single target spells & burst rotation, and the 2nd has your AOE spells
